Skinny Malone

Looking back over the past few years of Bare Vintage, every person we have met with, spoke with and photographed has been an important part of us growing.

When we began, we knew we wanted to capture people that were working hard and doing what they love, while at the same time trying to express what London means to us.

The first person we organised to photograph was London based musician, Skinny Malone. With one roll of film and a bag of vintage pieces, we headed to our chosen Hackney spot - which by coincidence was in fact the estate that Skinny had spent part of his childhood growing up in. Looking back on these photos, they still feel just as relevant now.
